The MS in Chemical Engineering, delivered by the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, delivers in-depth exploration of chemical engineering principles with balanced focus on theoretical foundations and practical applications. The ChE MS Program considers students who have a ChE BS degree or closely related engineering or science BS degree with a GPA of 2.7 or above in the major courses. Students with a US ChE BS degree are admitted to classified standing if they have a GPA in the major of 3.0, or better or they are admitted to conditionally classified standing if they have a GPA in the major between 2.7 and 2.99. Students who meet the GPA requirement and have a BS degree in a closely-related engineering or science discipline and/or who have a non-US ChE degree are admitted in conditionally classified standing.
