The Biomedical Devices concentration, provided by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, allows students to specialize in creating, refining, and producing medical equipment that interacts with or is inserted into the human body. Designed for those holding a B.S. in engineering, chemistry, or physics, this program delivers advanced training to equip graduates for successful careers in this specialized field.
Student must possess a BS degree in biomedical engineering, or its equivalent from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.0 or better in the last 60 semester units, have met the GRE requirement if their major GPA is below 3.0; and have completed the Transition Courses, or their equivalents, with grades of B or better.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 80 (IBT), paper based – 550, Computer based – 213; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53.
