The Master of Music in Composition prepares students for professional composing, teaching careers, or advanced academic pursuits. This intensive two-year, 30-unit program emphasizes personalized composition mentoring, advanced music theory seminars, and essential coursework in music research and history. Students complete their studies with a Thesis project featuring an original musical composition.
