The Digital Assets and Services Strategic Management Certificate, provided by the School of Information, equips students with expertise in managing and governing digital information within organizational and networked environments. This program covers digital asset management, curation, information governance, data security, analytics, marketing, community informatics, and value demonstration. Participants choose a specialized career track and complete 9 units within their selected pathway.

Graduate Certificate Program Prerequisites
Post-baccalaureate certificate programs deliver targeted, practical education for specific professional objectives. Admission requires submission of either an intake form or a CalState Apply application, along with official transcripts verifying completion of an accredited U.S. bachelor's degree (or its international equivalent). A minimum 2.5 undergraduate GPA is mandatory for consideration.
A bachelor’s degree from any regionally accredited institution in any discipline with a GPA of at least 3.0 at the bachelor’s degree institution* or in the last 60 semester or 90 quarter units. *If the institution did not issue grades / GPA, enter “N/A” into the GPA field in Cal State Apply. Narrative evaluations (minimum 5 – 6) need to be sent with your official transcripts.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 8; TOEFL – 100 (IBT), paper based – 600, Computer based – 250; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53.
