SJSU's String Program boasts exceptional faculty members who are accomplished performing artists with deep expertise in music performance and education. The University Symphony Orchestra tackles professional-level repertoire, presenting at least four major concerts annually. Both singers and instrumentalists can compete in the yearly Concerto-Aria Competition for a chance to solo with the orchestra.
