The Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio Practice offers students the flexibility to explore diverse visual arts disciplines or craft a personalized curriculum blending art studies with other academic areas. While not exclusively career-focused in art or design, many Studio Practice students leverage this program as groundwork for advanced studies. The mandatory studio components aim to sharpen visual literacy while exposing students to various technical methods and conceptual frameworks. Specialization options include digital media arts, photography, two-dimensional art, and three-dimensional art. Additionally, this concentration serves as foundational preparation for those pursuing art education credentials.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
