The Bachelor of Arts in Music program, provided by the School of Music and Dance, caters to students pursuing a liberal arts education with a music concentration. This flexible degree allows for personal customization. Completion of a senior project is mandatory.
Prospective students must pass an entrance audition. The curriculum includes core coursework followed by elective selections from two or more categories, chosen with guidance from the BA Music Advisor to align with the Capstone project (MUSC 182). Students must complete four semesters of lower-division applied lessons. Concurrent ensemble participation is required alongside all applied lessons.
