The Economics Department is dedicated to a single fundamental purpose: educating both graduate and undergraduate students in economic reasoning and market dynamics. Our globally esteemed faculty will mentor you through economic theory, developing your analytical decision-making abilities to thrive in business, public policy, government roles, data analysis, while also establishing a strong base for advanced economics studies.
The economics curriculum is broad and adaptable, accommodating diverse student goals. The Economics BA program offers more than 21 units of free electives. These optional courses provide students the opportunity to combine the critical thinking skills gained in economics with practical expertise from areas like finance, marketing, and communications. An economics bachelor's degree creates an ideal foundation for pursuing an MBA or legal education.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
