The BA in Design Studies, delivered by the Department of Design, gives students comprehensive knowledge of design fundamentals, historical context, and theoretical frameworks. Alongside essential core coursework, learners customize their education by selecting from the specialized concentrations outlined below. Qualified students can transition into the BFA programs for Interior Design or Graphic Design, or the BS in Industrial Design program, contingent upon available spots and successful portfolio evaluations.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
