The Bachelor of Arts in Chicana and Chicano Studies, provided by the Chicana and Chicano Studies Department, gives students comprehensive knowledge of the field while equipping them with analytical tools and practical skills to engage with Chicanx-Latinx communities and tackle their challenges. This program focuses on three key specialization areas: Cultural & Creative Expression, Institutions & Community Engagement, and Transnationalism & Global Relations.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
