All Biology programs are highly competitive due to exceeding available spots. Transfer applicants must submit their materials to the University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions exclusively during the October 1 to November 30 window for fall term consideration. Spring admissions and late submissions are not accepted. Both transfer students and current students seeking to switch majors must complete a separate department application. The curriculum, covering biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, equips students for advanced work in cellular and molecular biology. You are considered a freshman applicant if you will have a high school diploma or GED and have not enrolled at any college or university beyond the summer immediately following your high school graduation.
