Literature, Linguistics, and Individual Major concentrations require 45 total units: six lower-division prerequisites, 15 core units, 21 concentration units, and a three-unit capstone project. The English Education concentration involves six lower-division prerequisites, 12 core units, 23-26 concentration units (including a capstone), plus 12-22 units in a chosen emphasis area.
