The Division of Environmental Health is a graduate program within SDSU's School of Public Health, providing both Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Science degrees with specializations in Environmental Health.
The MS in Public Health with an Environmental Health Sciences focus combines academic coursework with laboratory research customized to each student's academic interests. This program is particularly suited for those pursuing technical careers in environmental or occupational health fields or planning to pursue doctoral studies.

Current investigations examine water quality (particularly contaminants in recycled water), border region air quality between the US and Mexico, South American air pollution, children's environmental exposures, biomonitoring methods, and innovative contaminant detection using advanced analytical methods like time-of-flight mass spectrometry.
