The Multimedia concentration allows Art majors to explore a combination of courses focusing on time-based media, interactive design, experimental storytelling, spatial installations, and cross-disciplinary art practices. This program enables students to blend conventional techniques with cutting-edge digital technologies in their creative work.
Through interactive storytelling and digital media projects, the Multimedia curriculum prepares students for careers in web development, interactive design, game development, motion graphics, e-learning systems, and digital publishing.
This specialization gives Art students the chance to integrate multiple disciplines and modern technologies into their practice. Students can experiment with digital installations, web-based art, video production, and audio works as contemporary artistic mediums within this program.

Qualification Requirements
If you are graduating from a high school outside of the United States, your application will be reviewed on the following admission criteria Completion of high school/secondary level. A certified copy of graduation certificate or diploma will be required prior to enrollment at SDSU. Review the Requirements by Country for country specific information.
A minimum U.S. equivalent GPA (grade point average) of 3.0 (B grade or 80 percent) or higher.
English Proficiency: If you are attending or have attended a high school where English was not the primary language of instruction, you must meet university-level competence in English through one of the following:
TOEFL Passing score is 80 iBT and 550 paper or higher.
IELTS Passing overall score is 6.5 or higher.
