This program enables students to start taking classes that fulfill prerequisites for either the AAS in Law Enforcement or AAS in Corrections degrees. The certificate provides a pathway for students to initiate coursework meeting the standards for these associate degrees. IMPORTANT NOTE: CJSA 1322 and CJSA 1313 courses are not eligible for transfer credit toward bachelor's degrees at nearby universities. Those planning to complete an AA at San Antonio College before transferring should enroll in CRIJ 1301 (Introduction to Criminal Justice) and CRIJ 1306 (Court Systems and Practices) rather than CJSA 1322 and CJSA 1313.
