The Enhanced Skills Certificate is awarded after finishing two specialized courses following graduation, tailored for those holding an AAS Degree in Communication Design. The initial course, ARTC 2388 (Internship-Communication & Advertising Art), provides practical workplace training where students implement specialized industry knowledge and techniques. A customized learning curriculum is created collaboratively by the educational institution and the employer. The subsequent course, MRKG 1311 (Principles of Marketing), offers foundational marketing knowledge, covering consumer and business needs assessment, economic/social/global factors, and the significance of market research.
