The Department of Kinesiology focuses on physical fitness, lifelong sports, and physical education studies. Ideal for aspiring kinesiology professionals, the program combines Core Curriculum completion with individual development. Our curriculum builds essential skills, perspectives, and expertise in fitness activities, recreational sports, and physical education instruction. Graduates can explore careers in school teaching, private sector exercise science, or prepare for physical therapy programs.
San Antonio College provides the foundational two years for a Kinesiology bachelor's degree. Students can earn an Associate of Arts in Kinesiology or follow transfer pathways to the University of Texas at San Antonio or Texas A&M University at San Antonio.
