Saint Louis University's dual-degree program awards participants both a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration (M.D./MBA).
This program develops leadership and administrative competencies, preparing students to provide exceptional patient care in today's evolving healthcare landscape. A distinctive feature includes an international study opportunity where participants examine global business scenarios, tour regional enterprises, and engage with expert speakers. This intensive week-long international experience occurs between academic terms. Candidates must apply to the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business during their initial medical training years, with the option to substitute MCAT scores for GMAT/GRE requirements. After finishing three years of medical education - encompassing clinical rotations and passing the first two USMLE steps - students dedicate a year to business coursework before returning to complete their final medical year.
