This program equips students with leadership and management competencies to provide excellent patient care in today's evolving healthcare landscape. The curriculum features an international study component where participants analyze global business scenarios, tour companies abroad, and engage with guest speakers. This intensive seven-day overseas experience, scheduled during the academic break, offers practical exposure to international business practices. Candidates apply through the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business during their initial two years of medical training, with MCAT scores potentially substituting for GMAT/GRE requirements. After finishing three years of medical education - including clinical rotations and USMLE Steps 1-2 - students dedicate one year to business coursework before returning to complete their final year of medical studies.
