The Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing at Saint Louis University provides a direct-entry BSN program featuring cutting-edge classrooms and clinical laboratories. Students benefit from international study options, diverse clinical placements across multiple healthcare environments, and small class sizes for all clinical instruction. Nursing undergraduates at SLU can start their professional coursework immediately with NURS 1400 Introduction to Nursing in their first semester. The program's advanced simulation lab teaches students to manage frequent nursing scenarios such as asthma attacks, cardiac conditions, fluid imbalances, and cognitive impairments. Hands-on lab training commences in the second-year fall semester, with clinical rotations starting the following spring. The curriculum includes clinical practice across all primary nursing disciplines.
