The Master of Music in Multiple Woodwind Performance offers a distinctive program for adaptable musicians to develop skills as woodwind specialists across diverse performance contexts such as musical theater, recording studios, and concert tours. Participants focus on a principal instrument (saxophone, flute, clarinet, oboe, or bassoon) while also mastering two additional woodwinds from the same family, performing on all three throughout their studies. This specialized curriculum prepares musicians to excel as multi-instrumentalists in various professional environments, particularly musical theater productions. Candidates must select a primary woodwind instrument along with two secondary choices from the same category for their audition. With guidance from woodwind and ensemble instructors, students will receive comprehensive training and performance opportunities across their three chosen instruments.
