Earning a master's degree in special education equips you to support the academic and emotional development of students facing learning challenges, intellectual disabilities, significant behavioral issues, and other special needs. This hands-on, practical program trains educators to effectively teach students from kindergarten through young adulthood (age 21). Graduates qualify for Illinois' LBS1 teaching certification.
