This rigorous, practice-oriented MA curriculum trains candidates to collaborate effectively with diverse student populations and their families. Graduates earn an Illinois school counseling certification and can pursue additional credentials as professional counselors. CACREP-accredited, this program develops advocates who address both educational and psychosocial needs in school settings. The curriculum's hands-on approach ensures graduates can serve varied communities while meeting Illinois' requirements for School Counselor certification, with pathways to LPC and LCPC licensure.
