Gain expertise in identifying and addressing challenges related to morale, hiring, and workplace efficiency. As a graduate student, you'll develop essential statistical analysis and problem-solving abilities for business success. You'll implement your knowledge to improve performance in actual work environments. Roosevelt University provides both master's and doctoral psychology programs: the Master of Arts (MA) and Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). MA specializations include general psychology, clinical psychology (for counseling careers), and industrial-organizational psychology (with an option for a combined IO MA/MBA). The PsyD focuses on clinical psychology. The Industrial-Organizational (IO) Psychology MA program adheres to the scientist-practitioner approach, equipping students with research methods and quantitative techniques to solve real-world organizational challenges. Additionally, students learn to apply this scientific knowledge to workplace problems. While most finish this two-year program, some opt to transition to the IO Psychology MA/MBA dual degree after enrollment.
