The Doctor of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership equips students for impactful careers across higher education, nonprofits, and corporate environments. Our flexible online format allows you to undertake the majority of studies remotely while maintaining work-life balance. The program features meaningful networking opportunities through our yearly intensive residency at the downtown campus, where you'll interact with professors, cohort members, and established professionals.This 3.5-year doctoral program combines online learning with annual Chicago campus gatherings, accepting new students exclusively for autumn terms.This cross-disciplinary degree cultivates leadership capabilities for varied organizational contexts, built upon three foundational concepts: Leadership emerges through social dynamics.

The curriculum emphasizes the critical connection between communication and leadership effectiveness. Successful leadership requires mastery of core theories, principles, and practical applications. Students develop crucial leadership competencies while examining current methodologies and pioneering solutions to organizational challenges, all within a framework that prioritizes social equity considerations.
The Ed.D. program requires applicants to have a bachelor's and master's degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.25. To apply, please submit:
