The accounting technology program equips you for professional roles in accounting fields. You'll master the full accounting cycle for service, retail, and production-based enterprises. Upon completing the program, you'll utilize computer systems to manage financial documentation, validate business transactions, and handle various office and administrative tasks. This program welcomes qualified deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Offered through RIT's National Technical Institute for the Deaf, accounting technology is available as either an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) or through an Associate-to-Bachelor's Degree pathway. The AAS in accounting technology is a vocational degree designed to prepare graduates for immediate employment in well-compensated paraprofessional or technical positions.
