The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) program in 3D graphics technology covers fundamental principles of three-dimensional design, equipping students with both artistic and technical abilities to create 3D visuals, prints, and environmental scenes spanning from stylized to lifelike realism, plus models for multimedia and animation applications. The curriculum blends classical design foundations with modern digital methods, incorporating the study of temporal concepts, movement dynamics, and illumination theory. Graduates can pursue immediate employment in the 3D graphics field or advance to RIT's College of Art and Design Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program in 3D digital design. This educational opportunity is accessible to eligible deaf and hard-of-hearing learners.
