Numerical simulations help analyze mantle convection and crustal development on rocky exoplanets. Our research explores connections between planetary interiors, surfaces, and atmospheric formation, examining how these relationships influence mantle dynamics, tectonic activity, and long-term habitability potential. By studying convective system physics, we investigate mechanisms that promote or suppress tectonic plate movement on celestial bodies.

Our seismology team analyzes Mars Insight mission data, improving models of the Martian interior to enhance our knowledge of its geological history and formation processes.
