Program Learning Outcomes (Student Outcomes) for the BSCE Degree
Upon completion of the BSCE degree, graduates will demonstrate:
The capability to recognize, define, and address intricate engineering challenges using engineering, scientific, and mathematical principles.
The skill to employ engineering design in creating solutions that fulfill specific requirements while accounting for public health, safety, welfare, and global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic considerations.
Proficiency in communicating clearly with diverse audiences.
The capacity to acknowledge ethical and professional duties in engineering scenarios and form reasoned decisions that account for the effects of engineering outcomes on global, economic, environmental, and societal spheres.
Effectiveness in collaborating within teams to collectively offer leadership, foster a cooperative and inclusive atmosphere, set objectives, organize activities, and achieve goals.
Competence in designing and performing suitable experiments, evaluating and understanding data, and applying engineering reasoning to reach conclusions.
The ability to gain and utilize new knowledge as required, employing effective learning approaches.
Program Educational Objectives for the BSCE Degree
Three to five years post-graduation, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) alumni are anticipated to achieve these Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):
