Program Learning Outcomes (Student Outcomes) for the BSChE Degree
Upon completion of the BSChE degree, students will demonstrate:
The capability to identify, formulate, and resolve complex engineering challenges using principles from engineering, science, and mathematics.
The skill to employ engineering design in creating solutions that address specific requirements while accounting for public health, safety, welfare, and global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic considerations.
Effective communication skills with diverse audiences.
The capacity to acknowledge ethical and professional duties in engineering scenarios and form reasoned judgments that account for the effects of engineering solutions on global, economic, environmental, and societal aspects.
The proficiency to collaborate effectively within teams, where members collectively offer leadership, foster a cooperative and inclusive atmosphere, set objectives, organize tasks, and achieve goals.
The ability to design and perform suitable experiments, evaluate and interpret data, and utilize engineering judgment to reach conclusions.
The competence to gain and implement new knowledge as required, employing effective learning approaches.
