Cyberattack methods have become remarkably advanced in recent times, exposing financial institutions, legal practices, medical providers, and businesses of all types to potential breaches. Quinnipiac's campus-based MS in Cybersecurity offers a specialized technical curriculum tailored for students with either academic computer science backgrounds or professional experience who seek to develop the expertise required to combat these risks and protect corporate, financial, and private information. Foundational courses are available as needed to strengthen technical competencies.

This 30-credit degree program delves into the technical dimensions of crucial cybersecurity domains such as threat assessment, protective technologies, information security, application safeguards, identity verification, and cloud protection. Students will progressively acquire practical knowledge and technical proficiencies essential for designing, securing, and managing robust digital defense systems. Qualification Requirements

To qualify for admission into the on-campus MS in Cybersecurity program, a student must have completed a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and meet one of the following criteria:

Have an undergraduate degree in computer engineering, software engineering or computer science OR

Have an undergraduate degree in another area with applicable coursework or certificates in network technology, database management and programming OR

Have at least 2 years of applicable work experience or military service including experience with network technology, database management technology and programming OR

Receive approval of the program director
