The graduate program in Couple and Family Therapy at Purdue University Northwest equips you to deliver mental health services through a scholar-practitioner approach rooted in systemic family therapy principles. Our program's coursework and practical training reflect the university's land-grant commitment to education, research, and community involvement.
This program develops your ability to offer ethical, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive relationship-focused mental health care to clients from various backgrounds.
Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or greater based on a 4.0 scale for unconditional admission. Students whose GPA is somewhat less than 3.0 may be considered for conditional admission.
Test scores: IELTS score - An overall band score of 6.5 is required for admission; TOEFL - minimum Internet-Based (iBT) scores: 80.
The deadline to apply is the second Monday of January each year for fall admission.
