Master's (M.S.) and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs offer specialized tracks in Computational Science and Engineering (CS&E). These interdisciplinary programs enable students to combine statistical studies with computational approaches. For the M.S. program, candidates must fulfill standard Statistics degree requirements while completing 9 credits of designated CS&E coursework. Ph.D. candidates must complete 12 additional CS&E credits. The curriculum typically consists of one-third computer science content and two-thirds statistics. Applicants should possess strong undergraduate preparation in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. The CS&E specialization provides access to advanced computing resources.
