This graduate program caters to students pursuing either a Master of Science (M.S.) degree or those aiming to progress toward a Ph.D. Students can shift to the Direct Ph.D. track during their master's studies with Graduate Committee approval, subject to meeting specific requirements.

The School of Nuclear Engineering provides a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering (M.S.N.E.) with two pathways: (1) thesis-based and (2) coursework-focused. Detailed degree requirements follow. Qualification Requirements

Applicants are ordinarily expected to hold a bachelor's degree from a college or university of recognized standing prior to registration, and should have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or higher.
