Management Information Systems (MIS) combines the practice and study of acquiring, compiling, maintaining, processing, and distributing data to support executive decisions. It focuses on enhancing organizational operations through technological solutions. Our MIS faculty engage in scholarly work and instruction to advance knowledge in this field.
The Distinguished Purdue University Engineering Plaza. Current investigations by Purdue's Krannert School of Management MIS team concentrate on data storage solutions, network technologies, cybersecurity, user interface design, organizational learning systems, adaptive algorithms, artificial intelligence applications, and digital commerce - specifically regarding framework development, digital products, packaging strategies, and cost models. The MIS team actively promotes interdisciplinary studies that align with our core objectives and evolving research landscapes.
