This program examines critical worldwide challenges from a cultural perspective, equipping students with fundamental principles, key themes, research methodologies, and ethical considerations that shape cultural anthropology's investigative approaches and perspectives.
Students in this concentration will develop skills to recognize and analyze the intricacies of human societies - exploring both cultural distinctions and unexpected commonalities. The curriculum covers diverse subjects such as: racial dynamics, ethnic identity and nationalism, gender studies, sexual orientation, culinary traditions, human rights, family structures, social stratification, economic globalization, political systems, artistic expressions, digital cultures, spiritual beliefs, and healthcare practices.
