The Master of Science in Sustainable Environmental Systems (SES) stands among the country's most forward-thinking, cross-disciplinary, systems-oriented sustainability programs. This STEM-designated degree prepares students for growing environmental career opportunities by integrating environmental science, sustainable design, and climate policy. Drawing on expert faculty and courses from the Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment, students develop cross-disciplinary competencies and systems-based methodologies to evaluate current environmental challenges, drive creative solutions, promote environmental and social equity, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to create sustainable plans, policies, and communities.
Applicants from all fields of study are encouraged to apply.
TOEFL score of 79 (internet and home test), TOEFL ITP Plus for China of 550, IELTS of 6.5, Duolingo of 105, or PTE of 53 is required. Admission is for fall and spring term.
