At Pittsburg State University, students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History benefit from considerable program customization. Working closely with faculty advisors, learners select at least 12 credit hours in American history and 12 in World history, followed by 9 additional hours in their preferred subject areas. Recent course options have covered topics such as World War II history, American Medicine, the American Frontier, Samurai culture, Contemporary Ireland, the Modern Middle East, and the Opioid Epidemic. Qualification Requirements

High School Academic Records: A minimum GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in high school and have earned a high school diploma

International College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post-secondary institution (college/university)

U.S. College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) if transferring from an accredited U.S. college with at least 24 credit hours (approximately one year of college work)

English Language Requirement

TOEFL score of at least 68 (iBT) is required. In addition, a minimum score of 15 is required in each section (internet).

IELTS: Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.0. in each band of the IELTS is required. If a lower score is earned in any of the five band scores, the overall score cannot be accepted.

PTE: Overall score of 47.
