The Wood Technology program provides hands-on training in woodworking for students pursuing careers in the field, featuring access to one of Northern California's most advanced workshop facilities. Career-focused students receive support in securing employment opportunities across various woodworking specialties, including custom furniture production, cabinet making, commercial fixture fabrication, and architectural woodworking. The program emphasizes personalized instruction, allowing for adaptable learning paces, creative design exploration, and specialized focus areas. All courses share two fundamental objectives: ensuring students become proficient and safe equipment operators while equipping them with critical thinking skills for three-dimensional wood construction challenges.

Program Learning Outcomes
Technical Proficiency Students will acquire fundamental competencies in hand tool usage, power tool operation, project design and planning, along with industry-standard software and CNC machinery applications relevant to modern cabinetry and furniture manufacturing.
Material Application Students will learn to assess, select, and implement appropriate materials while developing efficient production workflows that maximize resource utilization.
