The Associate in Arts in Studio Arts for Transfer Degree (AA-T Studio Arts) prepares students to transfer smoothly with junior standing and priority admission to their local CSU campus for a Studio Arts program or similar bachelor's degree program. Requirements include: Completing 60 semester or 90 quarter units transferable to the California State University, encompassing both: (A) The Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) or CSU General Education Breadth Requirements, and (B) At least 18 semester or 27 quarter units in a major or focus area designated by the community college district. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and achieve a C grade or higher in all major-specific courses. The degree requires no more than 60 semester units. The AA-T Studio Arts also facilitates transfer to UC campuses and other bachelor's degree programs. Students should meet with a counselor to confirm transfer prerequisites.
