The Associate in Arts in Geography for Transfer (AA-T GEOG) prepares students to transfer as juniors with priority admission to a CSU campus for a Geography or related bachelor's degree program. Requirements include: Completion of 60 semester or 90 quarter transferable units, including: (A) Either IGETC or CSU General Education Breadth Requirements, and (B) At least 18 semester or 27 quarter units in a major/emphasis area as defined by the community college. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required, with all major courses completed with a C or better. The degree requires no more than 60 semester units. The AA-T GEOG also facilitates transfer to UC or other four-year institutions. Students should meet with a counselor to confirm transfer requirements.
