The Associate in Arts Degree in Child and Adolescent Development for Transfer equips students to smoothly transition with junior standing and preferential admission to a nearby CSU campus, where they can pursue a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development or a related field. This program is ideal for those aiming for careers such as early childhood educators, teacher trainers, family support specialists, child advocates, parenting instructors, or childcare administrators.
Graduates of the AA-T in Child and Adolescent Development receive transfer benefits within the
CSU system: guaranteed junior-level admission to a CSU, priority consideration at local campuses, and access to Child and
Adolescent Development or comparable majors. Transfer students will need to complete a maximum of 60 additional
units to obtain their bachelor's degree at a CSU institution.
