The Associate in Arts in Art History for Transfer program is designed for students aiming to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Art History within the CSU system. This pathway provides foundational knowledge for transfer students entering Art History or related majors, examining
humanity's creative expressions across cultures. The curriculum explores global artistic diversity while guaranteeing transfer benefits including junior standing admission and priority consideration for art history programs at CSU campuses.
Prospective AA-T in Art
History students should meet with both the Art Program Chair and an
Academic Counselor.
Program requirements include:
Completion of 60 transferable semester units.
Fulfillment of either CSU GE-Breadth or IGETC general education requirements.
Completion of at least 18 major-specific units with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Achieving grades of C or better in all major courses (Pass grades are acceptable for Pass/No Pass courses).
