The Landscape Architecture degree equips students with fundamental knowledge and practical skills for careers or advanced studies in this field. The curriculum covers essential subjects like design methodology, site evaluation, landscape planning, vegetation design, construction techniques, landform manipulation, visual communication, digital design tools, and industry standards. Graduates achieve three key goals: qualifying for California's Landscape Architects Registration Exam (LARE), acquiring entry-level competencies for landscape design firms, and building a foundation for bachelor's or master's programs in landscape architecture.
