The Corrections degree and certificate program offers foundational training for individuals pursuing careers as Correctional Officers, Counselors, or Probation and Parole Officers with government agencies at various levels. Graduates may qualify for entry-level positions upon earning their AA degree or completing certificate requirements.
Upon finishing the program, students will be able to:
Effectively communicate through both verbal and written reports within the criminal justice field.
Exhibit professional, ethical behavior while interacting respectfully with diverse populations in high-pressure scenarios.
