As a graduate student, you'll collaborate with your faculty advisor and committee to create a customized study and research plan aligned with your interests. We recommend connecting with faculty members conducting research in your areas of interest to assess their availability and funding capacity to mentor you. You might also consider reaching out to the ESM Graduate Student Organization (ecosystem.gsogmail.com) and speaking with current graduate students to learn about the department's key strengths. The ESM GSO website offers valuable resources and information for graduate students.

Our Wildlife and Fisheries Science program provides practical learning opportunities through access to streams, forests, and wetlands. The curriculum equips students with knowledge about terrestrial and aquatic species biology and habitat management. Students benefit from cutting-edge lab facilities, off-campus research stations, an active seminar series, and dedicated faculty members.
