The Master of Science (M.S.) in Health Policy and Administration equips students with essential knowledge and research capabilities in health services. This HPA program readies graduates for doctoral studies in health services research or similar disciplines, as well as for analytical roles in both academic and non-academic research environments.
The Department of Health Policy and Administration's graduate programs concentrate on healthcare management, policy development, and research, specifically addressing persistent challenges like healthcare costs, service quality, and accessibility.
A junior/senior grade-point average of 3.00 or better (on a 4.00 scale) and a well-considered statement of experience and career goals are major criteria for admission. Some work experience in health services is preferred, but not required.
English Proficiency: TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) - a total score of 80 with a 19 on the speaking section for the internet-based test (iBT); TOEFL Paper-based test - the minimum acceptable score is 550; IELTS - The minimum acceptable composite score for the IELTS Academic Test is 6.5.
