The M.A. program in French and Francophone Studies aims to deepen students' mastery of French language, literature, and culture beyond undergraduate expectations. Minimum qualifications for admission to the program typically include a B.A. in French or the equivalent, a minimum of 3.20 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale), and the ability to speak and write in both French and English.
English Proficiency: TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) - a total score of 80 with a 19 on the speaking section for the internet-based test (iBT); TOEFL Paper-based test - the minimum acceptable score is 560; IELTS - The minimum acceptable composite score for the IELTS Academic Test is 6.5.
