The Instrumentation Specialization in Industrial Technology equips students with skills in installing, maintaining, and calibrating devices for industrial process automation. These instruments manage pressure, temperature, level, and flow in automated manufacturing and production systems. In the Level I Certificate Program, students will master the fundamentals of DC/AC Electricity, Motor Control, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Controls, Equipment Maintenance, and Electromechanical Systems. This certificate establishes a foundational knowledge for maintaining, troubleshooting, operating, and planning the assembly of industrial technology systems.
Graduates with this award can pursue roles such as Entry-level Instrumentation Technician, Industrial Technician, or Electromechanical Technician.
