The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University pioneered one of the nation's first complete environmental law curricula. This initiative reflected a dedication to preserving both natural ecosystems and human-made surroundings. As the environmental program expanded, it maintained top-tier national recognition as both an educational hub and activist center. Situated near New York City, our location provides students with exceptional internship possibilities at global organizations, businesses, law firms, and UN diplomatic missions. We frequently welcome international scholars and enable student participation in collaborative initiatives via our Brazil-American environmental law institute and China-focused programs. The curriculum emphasizes specialized courses examining environmental law through international, transnational, and comparative frameworks.
